Abstract

Child molestation is a form of sexual violence that threatens the physical, mental, and social development of children. This study aims to explore public perceptions regarding child molestation and the expected roles of families, schools, child protection institutions, and law enforcement. Data was collected through a survey of 40 respondents with diverse age and gender backgrounds. In addition, validity and reliability tests were conducted on the research instrument. The results indicate high public awareness of this issue and confirm that most instrument items are valid and reliable.
